Tetrads.io is an experimental free io game that brings a retro-blip animation style to online multiplayer battles. You start as a simple cube in a vibrant arena filled with shapes. To survive, you must seek out smaller shapes and add them to your mass while avoiding larger players. Each battle costs you the average of your blocks and the opponent's blocks when you consume them, so choose your victims wisely. This game uses no music, no sound effects, and only one art asset—the Tetrad block piece. It offers a true minimalist experience inspired by Agario, but with a unique twist: you can shape your chunk of blocks into any form you desire. Your goal is simple: move around the arena, collect Tetrad pieces to defend yourself, and outsmart your enemies to become the top of the leaderboard.

All movement in Tetrads.io is governed by your mouse, similar to Slither. Your core body block moves in the direction of your mouse pointer. Click your mouse button to activate a temporary speed boost, which consumes Boost energy that refills faster when you have a smaller body. Travel around the arena and attach Tetrad pieces to your body for protection. If an enemy Tetrad piece touches you, you are dead. Use your boost to ram into others, destroy their defenses, and strike their core body. Be strategic about your construction—there are many ways to design your body shape to creatively take out other players. Always pick on someone smaller than you, as larger players will constantly attack you. Outsmart other players and make judicious use of your boost power-up to speed away from attacks or get the jump on a victim.
